Bita Bay is an ocean front paradise. Its calm, protected bay is one of the nicest beaches on Green Turtle Cay, making it ideal for young children. The home has a large great room with double french doors that open onto the beach. There are two bedrooms, one queen size bed in the master and a king plus single bunk beds in the second bedroom, each with its own bath and wall unit air conditioners. The kitchen has a stove,microwave & fridge, there is a charcoal grill and hammock on the ocean front porch, and an outside shower and rinsing buckets for gear and feet. The house is equipped with a marine radio, telephone, free internet, satellite TV, a VCR with a dozen or so movies, and a good selection of games and reading material, as well boogie boards and bicycles.
The beach in front of Bita Bay runs south almost a mile to Long Bay. There are two small reefs in front of the home which offer great snorkeling for children and adults. Swimming to Bight of Bay Cay, just off shore, is fun and easy, especially at low tide. From the home you can take a path around the rocks and continue following the beach around Gilliams Bay to the beautiful sand bar at the southern most tip of Green Turtle Cay. The walk to the northern end of the island is delightful as well. Through coral paths and beach, you know you've reached your destination when you stand under the large cross erected at the entrance to Coco Bay and the Sea of Abaco. You can even spear a lobster just offshore. (Lobster season runs Aug.1 to April 1, make sure the tail is 5 1/2 inches

unbeatable location on Bita Bay, & wonderful sunrises. porches on 3 sides, lots of doors & windows to open to the breezes. the house is well equipped for a short or a long stay. also quite private!

We had one of our "girls vacations" @ Bita Bay House. It was fantastic. Right out the front doors to Bity Bay. The house was great. Clean, comfy and you could not beat the location. The ocean was right out the front steps. We stayed for 2 weeks . Take a snorkel trip w/ Brendal or Lincoln and you will have a fun filled day. Maybe even see some sea turtles or a shark. In a word paradise.
