Sound Harbour House is a 5 -8 bedroom home on White Sound Harbour with a dock on one side of the property & a beach with another dock on the other side of the house.
The upstairs is 9,000 sq ft with porches off of every room and is divided into two buildings. There are 5 bedrooms , the master bedroom being in the first main building and has a king size bed, bathroom en suite & small office . Then you walk into the living area that has a flat screen tv,satelitte, dining room that can sit 12 and a large kitchen with a restaurant size gas stove. There is a guest bathroom, laundry room with ice maker, extra fridge/freezer, wine cooler.
There are large screened in porches off of the living room front and back, where you have great views of the water on both sides. A dock is on this side along with a private beach.
You may walk out across a breezeway that leads into the second building, which houses 4 more bedrooms, a second kitchen and laundry .
The Sunshine Bedroom has a queen size bed, bathroom en suite with walk in shower . The 2nd, Safari Bedroom and 3rd, Palm Bedroom each have 2 full beds and bathrooms en suite. The fifth bedroom is ideal for your Boat Captain or Pilot, has its own kitchen ,washer & dryer,dining area and the bedroom has a king size bed with bathroom en suite with a tub/shower. Every bedroom has air conditioning, ceiling fans, phone, tv and private screened in porch.
The home has high speed internet ,local phone, vonage phone, satelitte tv, air conditioning .The interior of the home has been decorated to a very high standard.
There is also a downstairs unit that you can rent along with the upstairs for additional rooms, this consists of 3 bedrooms . The master bedroom has a queen size bed with bathroom en suite. There are two more bedrooms the "girls & the boys bunk rooms ". The girls room has 4 single beds with a bathroom en suite while the boys room has 2 hand made bunks with a bathroom en suite. There is a nursery room, living area with tv and satelitte, 100 's of movies to watch & games. There is a kitchen with dining room table and laundry room .There is a phone, a/c and ceiling fans.
The house is set on 1.3 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens with fruit trees and indiginous plants and orchids. There is a beach and dock on the back of the house and a 145 ft dock and dock house on white sound. It has a stand by generator & RO system .
The home rents for $12,000 per week for up to 10 people
Include the lower unit $16,000 per week for up to 20 people
The rate includes a caretaker on the property and 4 bicycles.

...I say a once in a lifetime, but we will certainly make it over and over again as long as they have us. I went with 20 friends for the 4th of July and it was simply unmatched service, comfort and relaxation. There is absolutely no place like this in the abacos. It can accommodate a very large group and everyone can stay together under one roof, making the trip that much more special. The island itself is tremendous and just what the doctor ordered for 20 of our friends to get away from the hustle of crowded Florida for a weekend. We will certainly return and I would recommend this treasure to anyone that loves the water, tranquility and first rate accommodations and service. Truly a Once in a Lifetime Experience.
I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we shared as a family while on our Family Reunion 2011 at Sound Harbour House! We were all in agreement that this was the best ever! The house was perfect, accommodating us all in fine style. We shared all the meals (each family in charge on one dinner during the week) & the kitchen was outfitted with all we could need. The access to the beach was perfect for our little ones & PaPa had his boat at the dock at the property, so he was happy too! The variety offered by the house for quiet fun & beach or boating time made for a very happy, fulfilling experience for all our kids & grandkids! We enjoyed all the island had to offer, which was enough to keep us all happy for our week stay. The house managers helped me to arrange everything from a professional photographer to document this event to a catered conch dinner on the dock, golf cart rental, we really had it all! The accommodations allowed each family their own space plus great space for kids to bunk together & catch up on "cousin time." Our family is spread out from coast to coast so these family reunions are a very special time for us & this truly was the best family reunion yet!!!
